Discount Code Policy

The Maison du Maven site and Lady Maven may offer discount codes to guests and members as it, in its sole discretion, deems appropriate.  We will accept discount codes that are issued by Lady Maven only.  I.e. we will not accept any discount code that has not been generated by Lady Maven for specific use on the Maison du Maven site.

We are under no obligation to create and issue any discount code.  However, if a discount code is provided it will include a name, the value, what it can be used for, the entity to whom it has been issued and a validity period.  Unless the discount explicitly states otherwise, the discount code is valid only for the individual or group to whom it was presented.  It will not be accepted on orders created by a party or parties for which it is not issued.  A message will be given to the user on the Maison du Maven site should a user attempt to use a discount code for which that user is not an eligible recipient. 

Lady Maven will accept a discount code which has been issued and remains valid on the Maison du Maven site for the period and circumstances under which it was issued.  E.g. the discount is valid only during a beginning and end date.  Before or after that period, that discount code will no longer be accepted as it has either not met its beginning period or it has expired as the current date is beyond the discount end date.  

At its sole discretion, Lady Maven may cancel or rescind a discount code for any reason at either an individual user level or system wide.   A user on the Maison du Maven site will always be made aware of the acceptance of a discount code on the checkout page by means of a message, not allowing a code to be entered, or by showing the value of the discount code as negated in the order totals.  

Discount codes also have the additional restrictions on usage and/or subject to non acceptance due to the following:

• The product/service/offer for which it was issued is no longer available on Maison du Maven
• The user has violated the conditions for use of the discount
• The discount code has been altered from the original issued by Lady Maven
• The discount code has been obtained in a manner inconsistent with the circumstance under which Lady Maven issued it
• The "system"/website/backend processing has been hacked or infiltrated in a manner deceiving the system into accepting an invalid code and/or use of a code beyond its original and intended purchase, percentage, amount or reuse limits.
• The discount code is not transferrable to another user on Maison du Maven.
• The discount code has no redeemable value beyond its intended use on Maison du Maven.  I.e. Lady Maven will not exchange the discount code for any form of monetary value including cash, credit or any other instrument for which Lady Maven would incur an expense.

Any user accessing the Maison du Maven website has the opportunity to read this policy by clicking on the link as it is provided on the site.  Furthermore, any use of the website constitutes an implicit acceptance of this policy whether or not the user has explicitly indicated their acceptance in a demonstrable way.
